As part of the Regulatory Reform 2005, it is the duty of the Responsible Person to ensure that fire doors in all non-domestic buildings are inspected regularly and the findings recorded.

How often they are inspected is down to assessment by a qualified person – ie a Fire Risk Assessor and in the case of HMO’s and Apartments, High Rise Flats etc, the new Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 should be given due regard.

Viso Group's full fire door inspection service will comprehensively meet this requirement. When we undertake a fire door inspection, we carry out a thorough multipoint check of the fire door condition and issue a full report along with photographic support.

Our reports are recognised for being very clear and easy to read. They list the defects logically and make it easy to summarise what is required to correct any issues. They also act as an Asset Register.

Our staff attending your premises are DBS checked, fully qualified and will work around any specific time requirements you may have – ie hospital theatres.

Viso Group offer replacement fire doors which are manufactured fully to third-party accredited, audited and compliant standards as set out in BS 476 pt22.

They are fitted expertly using our BM TRADA third-party training accreditation offering a fully certified end result.

We can supply and fit as part of an upgrading program or as part of a full refurbishment or building program working from architects’ specifications and liaising with the contractors.
